Welcome to MyPracticum!

MyPracticum is the MPH Online Program's portal, designed to give students who are not yet registered in PM 596 (the official practicum course), a chance to begin working on their practicum and submit practicum materials prior to enrolling in the course. In this Important practicum documents link, you will find information on eligibility requirements, approved placement sites, and all practicum related forms.

All students are required to complete a 300-hour practicum in public health at a site approved by USC.

Use the "Required MyPracticum Submissions" section to submit materials only if you are not yet enrolled in PM 596.

Please note: In order to receive credit for the practicum, you must obtain faculty approval of your practicum in advance. In addition, you must enroll in PM 596 in the semester that you will complete your last 100 hours. When you enroll in PM 596, you will be expected to submit final versions of the assignments you upload here and participate in all other aspects of the course. In addition, after reviewing all of the information below, you must notify the Practicum Coordinator, Carolina Lopez (lope968@usc.edu), when you are ready to begin your practicum hours and obtain all necessary approvals before proceeding. If you have further questions or would like to meet with the Faculty Practicum Director, Dr. Jane Steinberg, please send an email to janestei@usc.edu.

Throughout your Practicum, you will be obtaining signed timecards from your supervisor. Please follow these instructions to create your timecard and have it signed. Then, please be sure to save all signed timecards to submit in PM 596.
