Helpful Information for EMHA Online Students

Registration Timeline

The Trojan Countdown

Registration (official enrollment in courses) sets the ball rolling for a number of other steps in the process: billing and payment, financial aid, USC student information systems, and Moodle. Keep an eye on your inbox for the registration email which is sent when registration opens.

When do I register?
The registration period opens 4-6 weeks prior to the first day of classes of the semester. We will determine which courses you should register for on a semester-by-semester basis and you will receive detailed registration instructions with your designated courses and sections from the Student Services Team (studentsupport@healthadministrationdegree.usc.edu) when the registration period opens.

Please follow the registration steps to find the courses you have been cleared for and to finish the registration process. There is a web registration tutorial on the home page of web registration. We suggest reviewing it before registering.

You will have required textbooks for your courses, which you’ll need to procure. Some are available digitally as well as hard copy; decide which better suits your learning style and study habits. Many additional course reading materials will be provided digitally by your professors.

The Student Support Team will send you an email with a PDF list of the required materials for each course about 6 weeks in advance of the start of the semester.

Live sessions are mandatory in the online EMHA program. Classes that are 4-units have sessions weekly and classes that are 2-units have sessions every other week (bi-weekly). The Student Support Team will send you an email with a PDF of the live session calendar about 6 weeks in advance of the start of the semester.

You can view and pay your bill on myUSC Portal.

How much is tuition?
A: Consult the USC Catalogue for the most recent tuition rates and information. Tuition is billed per unit, so your bill depends on the number of units you take. Tuition rates increase incrementally each academic year.
