USC Hardware and Software Requirements

Minimum hardware requirements for PC and Mac users
Operating System	Windows 10 (Mac OS X Version 10.9) or higher required.
RAM	4 GB of RAM required (higher is recommended).
Free Disk Space	4 GB available hard-drive space.
Connection	Internet service provider (ISP); broadband connection recommended.
Audio & Video	Sound card and speakers or headphones for listening to audio components. Webcam (if you have a laptop, a built-in camera will suffice unless otherwise specified for the course).
Monitor	Monitor resolution of 1024 x 768 or higher.
Browser	We recommend that you use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, or Safari for the best Moodle experience. Moodle may also operate on other browsers, but with qualifications. The browser should be set to accept cookies and allow Javascript. Pop-up blockers should be disabled for Moodle.
