How to Upload Unlisted Videos to YouTube Video Transcript

It's really quick and easy to upload a video to YouTube that is unlisted, so that can't be searched for, or found without link. To do it, you come up here to create a new video, or post the little video camera button, and you come down here to upload video. Once you select this, it's going to ask you to add the video here. You can drag and drop the video in, or you can click here to select the file as well. I have the file on my desktop and it's called Beach.

So as that starts, it asks you for the details of the video. So this is a video of Woonona Beach, and give it a description. Down here, as it processes, you can select a thumbnail from the video, so one scene from the video, or you can upload your own thumbnail. If you make an image, you can upload your own thumbnail. You can add it to a playlist if you like. I'm going to say, no, it's not made only for kids. This is if it's made only for kids. I select no, because it's made not just only for kids it's made for everybody. Here, you can add in video elements, so end screen, or cards. These are more advanced features. I'm just going to skip these and click next.

And finally here is where you select the visibility of your video. I'm going to select it as unlisted. If it's public, it can be searched for on YouTube and anybody can find it. If it's unlisted, only the people with the link can view it. And I do not want to schedule it. And if I click save, I have now uploaded that ten second video to YouTube. Here is the link so I can copy the link, or I can click this link to go straight to the video. Thank you.
