Week 3 Lesson 2 Podcast

Welcome to Week 3, Lesson 2. Following the Herman Miller case we have another case to analyze this week called, "Fiji Water." Now this is a very interesting case. I hope you'll enjoy it. It can be taught from several different perspectives, namely a sustainability perspective or we can use a marketing lens. So I want you to put your marketing lens aside for this case, although you may not be able to do so easily, and I want you to focus on the sustainability aspects of Fiji Water.

As many of you, as many of you may know, Fiji Water has been very successful in the U.S. in selling water that's basically provided by a 450 million year old aquifer on the Fiji Islands and shipping it 10,000 miles from Fiji to L.A. and New York. So have a look at the case, identify the strengths and weaknesses of Fiji Water from a sustainability perspective, and look at it with a, a very critical eye.
